10th December 2006

Social Sailing Day, 10th December 2006
It was a social, fun - and hot - day of social sailing with 4 Access 303's, a Topper, a Laser, and a Maricat!
NB. The Dam's water level was at 15% capacity on this day - and dropping rapidly :(

Jim Nutley (from Parkes) and his Maricat "Jarbs".

Luke, Marcia and Timothy helping pack away the Access 303's. Jim Nutley unrigs his Maricat, right-rear.

Luke (right) spent most of his day out on the water enjoying the Club Topper. He's a really enthusiastic young bloke - thanks, Luke!

Packing away the Club Topper (left) and four Access 303's were (L-R) Greg, Dick, Marcia, Timothy, Luke and Geoff. Rosie and Jill sensibly keep out of the sunshine. By this time (c.3.30 pm) the breeze had dropped off to next-to-nothing.

While the Club Topper (left) awaits unrigging, Greg, Dick and Geoff start packing away the Access 303's.

Timothy showing off his... joystick... (put it down, Timothy! hahahaaa!)
Dick, behind him, gets on with the serious work...

Everybody pitching in to help pack away, after a fun day's sailing. Mal's shade sure came in handy today.

We were very happy to see the welcome return of Parkes sailor, the awesomely inspiring Jim Nutley (left).

Relaxing after the day's activities were (L-R) Timothy, Rosie and Geoff.

Dave and Marcia relaxing in the cooler Clubhouse after a hot day's social sailing.

(L-R): Luke, Jim, Timothy, Rosie and Geoff (who always seems to know when a photo's being taken nearby! hahahaa!)

Jill and Dick Benson relaxing at day's end in the Clubhouse.

Sunset over Carcoar Dam, Saturday evening, 9 December 2006.
