Where'd the Wind Go?

With a united day with Sailability Central West, we decided to have a few casual social races as our "Combined Championship" get together. The morning conditions were a little chilly with a light NE breeze. Mal Kiely in his Solo, "Wyreema", facilitated an "interesting" flying start in the first three lap race, which was finally saw Greg Unwin in his Laser, "Radar" cross the line out in front.

There was a good turn-up for Sailability, but a highlight was Rotary Oranges' official launch of the newest Access 303 Dinghy, "Pink Lady" - complete with champagne!

The afternoon's conditions remained bright, warm and sunny, yet the wind dropped off to next-to-nothing. Two short very casual races followed, which involved much on-the-water chatter and laughter in the fluky, still conditions. A good time was had by all.
